Why My Blogs Might Come In Handy
What’s up, WPI!
For those readers I haven’t had the chance to meet yet, my name’s Adam and I’m currently a junior at WPI, focusing on fun and being everywhere on campus, but actually majoring in Management Engineering: Operations Management concentration, with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
I’m a new Peer Advisor at the Career Development Center, which translates to me helping others find the important skills and resources essential to their job searches.
This aside, I’m active in Greek Life, WPI Admissions, and student programming on the campus scene.
For fun I run around this campus (thankfully it’s a smaller hill than most), attend live performances, and frequent sports like frisbee, ping pong, and intramurals.
One of my best strengths is reaching out to helping others, whether it be helping with bags of groceries or pushing friends and colleagues to find the best opportunities out there. It’s been a natural quality of mine, so if you get sick from my amounts of pushing good causes, feel free to unsubscribe or delete my numerous messages — no harm, no foul!
BUT, I would like to point out that past efforts of mine have helped several friends gain abroad IQP attendance, internship opportunities, and more confidence in their career searches by applying the best of their qualities, many of which didn’t know they had.
So: for the first few pieces of advice, I’d encourage you to check out these self-assessment surveys on your own time. They only take a few minutes, and what’s a few minutes when YouTube and Facebook turn into hours of nonsense?
Some Self-Assessment Quizzes (not painful or confusing, I promise!)

Be sure to tune in next week for my next post, ‘Out of the Comfort Zone’!
My best,
