Hello Indianapolis !

Hi Everyone,

Is good to be back at WPI for another term! I hope you enjoyed a well-deserved break.

So I wanted to share with you about a great experience I had this past two weeks. As I had told you before, I’m involved in the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) at WPI and this month I had the opportunity to attend SHPE’s National Conference in Indianapolis, IN.

Over 150+ companies were present at the conference, including big names such as Toyota, Goldman Sachs and Google just to name a few. During the conference, I had the opportunity to attend a career fair. Imagine WPI’s career far times 3! It was kind of overwhelming, but I was well prepared because I have attended the career fairs at WPI and I think that set me apart from other students.

I also got to attend some interesting workshops that allowed me to improve my professional development. Not only that, but I was lucky to win an Ipad during a raffle in one of the company info sessions.

Overall I can say it was a great experience!
