New Beginnings!

Welcome back everyone! We’re almost a week into C-term, still trying to get back to the school mentality and the lack of sleep from Winter break. The weather is definitely not helping, and it feels like we should be hibernating instead of thinking about school. But unfortunately school is here whether we like it or not, and with it job searches. The break was an excellent opportunity to apply to jobs, tidy up your resume, researching jobs, and last but definitely not least networking.

If you didn’t get a chance to do any of that don’t fret, 2014 is here. With a new year you get a fresh start, and the CDC is here to help. We have more workshops than I can list coming up. Also the career fair is February 20th, so mark off your calendars for the day and the best part is that we have no school that day, so you don’t have any excuses. We’re starting something new this term, ONLINE APPOINTMENTS. Yup you read that right, now you don’t have to come into the CDC to book an appointment or call us, you just go to Job Finder.

The last thing I’d like to mention is that we’re accepting applications for the PEER ADVISOR position, which is my position in the CDC. It’s honestly the best job you can have.
