Final Round Interview
So I did it! I’m done with my final round interview! It’s such a relieving feeling.
Everything went much more smoothly than I was expecting. 🙂 I was one of four candidates. Our day started with a briefing from one of the employees in HR about what to expect for the day. Then, they placed each of us in a separate room and we had four, back to back, 30 minute interviews. Even though we were interviewed by upper level management, the conversations went very smoothly; they were all very down to earth and easy to talk to. Each person gave me a series of behavioral based questions and then at the end we had time to just talk. I have to say, all of the projects and group work at WPI gave me a lot to talk about and I felt like I had a thorough answer to each question.
After that we met up in a group again and we were given a tour of the building by somone currently in FLP – that’s what I’m applying for, the Future Leader’s Program. The building was really nice and our “tour guide” was actually a WPI grad from last year who was an Orientation Leader with me.
I’m feeling much more confident now. I feel like the interview went really well and it cleared up most of the concerns or uncertanties I had. So now it’s time to wait – for two weeks. They said they would tell us if we had an offer or not within that timeframe. It feels really far away, but I know that it truthfully is a really fast turn around. Wish me luck!
