Thanksgiving is a time for Turkey…and playing catch up.

I have to say. I’m excited for Thanksgiving break for a few reasons. First, I get to see family and friends. This is the first big event since the summer that all of my family gets together and all of my friends are back in town. I’ve missed everyone a lot while at school so it’ll be nice to be home again. Second, I get a break from school. I know that sounds terrible, but I’m really excited for a few days off from classes and all of my commitments. And, unlike regular weekends, teachers feel guilty givingĀ  you work over Thanksgiving, so, although you may get some work, it’s not that bad and still actually feels like a break. And finally, I’ll finally have time for looking for a job. I have to admit, job searching has kind of been put on the back burner in my life for the last two weeks or so…and I’ve been feeling pretty guilty about it. I know it’s something I need to be doing and I really want to get as much as I can done early so I can hopefully have a job lined up for graduation. Now I’ll finally have a few minutes to sit down and finally put some effort into it.

So no matter what your plans are for the next few days, I hope you enjoy it. Happy Thanksgiving!
