Connections after graduation

Filed in From the Staff by on February 16, 2011

Since graduation is only about 10 weeks away I am constantly reminded of how little time the seniors have left at this school. It’s exciting, but at the same time a bit frightening. Life after graduation could be drastically different. The people who have become your family in the past four years you may not see in a long time.

So with all this in mind I decided to revisit Alumni Connect. I discovered that through this website Alums can stay connected to WPI and the family they found here. There are various alumni chapters found at different places which you can be involved in. I also noticed that there are many events that WPI holds for the alums. Furthermore, the alums can help the current students by signing up for the STAR mentor program and being a resource for a current student.

Also, if you’re looking for an alumni to speak with about any questions/concerns you may have, there’s an online directory available. In this directory you can perform a search and it will provide you with a list of names of alumni that you may want to contact.

This is a great networking tool so if you’re a senior and still have not signed up for Alumni connect you better get on that.
