Do I need a passport to travel to Puerto Rico?
Puerto Rico is a US territory, and therefore a passport is not required to travel there from any US state. A state-issued ID, like a driver’s license, is sufficient. However, if you plan to travel around the Caribbean over weekends or holidays, or will travel internationally once your project term has completed, you should remember to bring your passport.
