Main Characters

 

Ronell Trout

Ronell is a founder and chairperson of the Green Light Project and is our main sponsor who guides us in our project work in Maitland Garden Village. A lifelong community member of MGV, she provides us with valuable insight on the village dynamic and introduces us to many important people. She is very passionate about the Green Light Project and helping the members of the MGV community.

 

Sheila Galant

Sheila is a founder and chairperson of the Green Light Project and together with Ronell is our sponsor who accompanies us throughout much of our project work.

 

 

 

Basil Tommy

Basil serves on the Green Light Project executive board as well as acts as the Cape Town Project Centre local coordinator. He was very helpful throughout the development of our resource book by advising us on the structure of the writing as well as guiding us in obtaining information about each of the prospective Help Centre venues. He also acted as the chairman for an important community meeting between the Green Light Project and other MGV organisations.

 

Jennifer Stacey

Jennifer is an assistant professional officer working for the City of Cape Town Department of Social Development. She acts as the Green Light Project’s link to the City and was helpful in providing us with information regarding political matters.

 

 

 

Scott Jiusto

Scott is a professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester Massachusetts, USA. He is the Director of the Cape Town Project Centre and acts as an advisor to students throughout the progression of the IQP project. He has been very helpful in providing our team with advice and guidance during our project work.

 

 

Bob Hersh

Robert Hersh is a professor at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester Massachusetts, USA. He acts as an advisor to students throughout the progression of the IQP project. He has been very helpful in providing our team with advice and guidance during our project work.
