Implement the designs while actively involving the Safe House inhabitants whenever possible

The team taught the residents many skills such as painting, sawing, and digging. With each new skill, the team approached the situation with enthusiasm and patience. The women came eager to learn, as they could see the team brought their ideas to life. Tangible change kept the residents motivated. As the project progressed, the team shared slideshows of pictures of graduates of the Safe House program and the week’s accomplishments over tea to show appreciation for communal hard work.
