Backstory: As part of our weekly meetings connecting our project team, our sponsors, and Maitland Garden Village members, we met at the MGV Community Centre on 5/11/2012.  The meetings were moved to 14h00 as agreed upon during the previous meeting.

This meeting was very helpful in providing future plans for this project.  Our team is excited to start mapping, the first step in creating a concrete product for this project.  We are also starting to understand the issue with the footbridge more and more.  For example, we are understanding the ramifications of making a new bridge and the different possibilities of other pedestrian access. When we tried to brainstorm possible options for a pedestrian bridge other than building a new one, the challenges were brought up more than different possibilities.  Moving forward, we hope to really lay these issues in our proposal.
