Key Project Outcomes
We developed the basic structure and rationale for a rooftop gardening programme. Our key accomplishments were:
- Developed a framework for a sustainable multi-rooftop gardening programme
- Developed revenue projections that suggest the programme could sustain jobs
- Assessed market interest in the programme and produce
- Identified potential rooftop gardening space
- Stimulated discussion within city agencies and among key constituents
- Generated interest among city agencies to fund a pilot garden on city property
- Created a set of proposals to explain and market the programme
