Mission and Objectives

Mission Statement

The project’s mission was to cooperate with the Sizakuyenza organization to improve the lives of the Sizakuyenza Safe House residents by assisting in the recovery of these survivors, through engaging the women in children in the addition and upgrade of facilities, features, and programs.

Objectives

  1. Connect with the Safe House staff and residents by interacting with the workers, women and children through social activities.
  2. Gather and analyze input to identify the areas of the Safe House where the team could make physical or organizational contributions.
  3. Collaboratively adapt or design a concrete plan of action that best addresses the needs of the Safe House with the help of the residents.
  4. Implement the designs while actively involving the Safe House inhabitants whenever possible.
  5. Observe and reflect on project outcomes.
