Jennifer Bombard

Jenn is majoring in Biology and Biotechnology. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta Women’s Fraternity and the Global Humanitarian Alliance. She is also a tutor in the Academic Resource Center at WPI. She loves playing soccer, crafting, and drinking coffee. Her favorite place in Cape Town was Cape Point.

Marguerite Carey

Marguerite is majoring in Chemical Engineering and minoring in Business. She is part of the Track & Field team and Exploradreams, a mentoring program for children ages 6-11. Her hobbies include anything outdoor, going to the beach, and napping. While in Cape Town, her favorite spot was Lion’s Head.

Brendan Kling

Brendan is a majoring in Civil Engineering with an Environmental Concentration. Outside of school Brendan enjoys sports such as basketball and skiing, and kicking back and relaxing with a movie, book, or a game.

 Emily Richardson

Emily Richardson attends Worcester Polytechnic Institute as a junior majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Instrumentation and a minor in Material Science. She hopes to use her knowledge to work towards the creation of low energy consuming diagnostic tools for use in countries with limited or no access to reliable electricity. Outside of academics, Emily is a varsity rower on the women’s crew team and enjoys rock climbing, reading, adventures, and any outdoor activity.
